Squirtle!

A piece being in the works for a while now. I wanted to try a different take on a Pokemon for some time. I chose Squirtle because I’m a huge fan of him in the in the smash bros. games.
He was inspired by several looks of him in the pokemon games, anime, other media and I looked a lot at real life turtles, tortoises and especially snapping turtles. An entire breakdown of the process can be found in the pictures below.
