Suzume no Tojimari: Daijin & Sadaijin

Saw Suzume in the movie theaters together with my friends back in May. I liked the movie so much it inspired me to make a small diorama featuring Daijin, Sadiaijn & Souta. I originally started sculpting the assets but during the process I switched to a handpainted style primarily again. This was supposed to be a ‘in between’ project but for some reason those never turn out that way do they?
This was made using photoshop, zbrush, maya & 3dcoat.
